I was in your shoes once.
I used exercise to punish my body for the foods I ate or to spot-train the parts of my body I hated. I’d workout for hours to ‘justify’ overeating the night before or in a failed attempt to tighten up quick.
I was never happy with my appearance or the physical goals I accomplished or what the number said on the scale.
Happiness hinged on me accepting my body as it was, which was something I couldn’t do.
After years of repeating this cycle I learned that I could do anything and everything to achieve my dream body and athleticism but until I got my mind right, nothing made me happy.
